Architect Aris Georgiou designed and HERCON constructed “The Grocery of Thessaloniki” at 12 Komninon St, where the 3rd generation of the Sotiriadis family - known from the store that operated in the Modiano market since 1924 – transfer its bussiness center. The stylish Grocery, that balances between European style and oriental smells and tastes, is the “vehicle” for your culinary trip around the world. Iron, wood and bronze bear the tasty load while the black and white photographs help memory to start its journey back in time. Over an area of 150 m2 on the ground floor and an office on the mezzanine level, the emphasis on detail and quality creates a welcoming and relaxing environment for customers and employees.
Going down a few steps we change continent. A part of the basement area is dedicated to the flavors of Asia and Latin America. With simple and economical solutions a small space was created, following aesthetically the ground floor area, addressed to those willing to experiment with flavours even more.
