Following the designs of architect Aris Georgiou, we created at Oreokastro Thessaloniki, an innovative building which will house a private collection. Definite, distinct volumes, handmade brick and titanium-zinc cladding that combine both the feeling of familiarity and modern aesthetics, openings that direct the light exactly where needed are some of the design features. The building incorporates the latest developments in indoor climate control and energy management and includes an office with living quarters, fully equipped laboratory for the maintenance of exhibits, extensive archival and storage spaces in the basement level, and provision has been made for a small conference space.
